Double Chocolate Oreo Brownies
Made from scratch, this Double Chocolate Oreo Brownies are the perfect dessert. Chocolate brownies filled with chunks of chocolate and topped with crispy Oreos.

Ingredients
  • 200 grams (1 and 1/4 cup) of good quality dark chocolate, to pieces
  • 70 grams (1/2 cup) milk or chunks of dark chocolate
  • 3 large eggs
  • 130 grams (1 and 1/2 cup) Plain, broken glass
  • 115 grams (1/2 cup or 1 stick) unsalted butter, chopped
  • 180 grams (1 cup strong packaged) brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 90 grams (2/3 cups) ordinary flour


Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to the standard 180 C (350 F) / 160 C (320 F) forced fan. Brush and align 8-inch square tin with baking paper, making sure both sides of the paper hang.
  2. Add butter and chocolate to a heat-resistant bowl and microwave until it melts, stirring every 30 seconds. Allow to cool slightly.
  3. Next, add sugar and vanilla to the chocolate and stir mixture. Add eggs, one at a time and stir again. Add flour and chocolate chips and stir until the mixture is smooth.
  4. Pour the mixture into a prepared can and gently over it. Place the broken Oreo chunks on top of the brownies and press slightly into the mixture.
  5. Bake the brownies for about 30-35 minutes or until cooked. It should start to crack at the edge and no longer vibrate in the middle. Allow it to cool completely before cutting into a square.
